Table 1. Patient CharacteristicsTable 2. NH3-PET Parameters結果及び考察Three patients in the iPS+CABG group and 16 patients in the only CABG group were analyzed. Mean age was 60±13 yaers, and the rate of male was 16 (84%). The only CABG group had a high incidence of diabetes mellitus, and the iPS+CABG group had high histories of myocardial infarction and coronary revascularization (Table 1). Regarding NH3-PET parameters, both before and after surgery, the iPS+CABG group showed more enlargement of LV end-diastolic volume and reduce of LVEF, and indicated a larger infarct area. The iPS+CABG group had a slightly lower MFR value before surgery, but after surgery, it improved to 1.8, the same level as the only CABG group (Table 2). The change of MFR was shown to be greater in the iPS+CABG group than in the only CABG group (Figure 1). However, this might be affected by the fact that the iPS+CABG group included many patients with more severe heart function decline and lower MFR values before surgery. When the comparison was limited to patients with preoperative LVEF <30%, the preoperative MFR was comparable in both groups (1.2 ± 0.1 vs. 1.1 ± 0.1) (Table 3). The change of MFR was smaller in the only CABG group with LVEF <30% than in the overall analysis, and as a result, the difference in ΔMFR between the iPS+CABG group and the only CABG group was shown to be larger (Figure 2). ― 144 ―
